Sydney has continued their winning ways, taking down the Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium.
The Dogs had their chances, kicking 12.16 and having the game on their terms for the majority, but it was the Swans - and Chad Warner - who took their opportunities in the 102-88 win.
Warner was ultimately the difference in the game, kicking four goals - including three in the third term - and adding three goal assists and four clearances.
This earned him our first A++ grading of the year!
The talking point will be the Bulldogs' injuries, losing Aaron Naughton (knee), Ed Richards (concussion) and Anthony Scott (concussion).
See our grades below:
Marcus Bontempelli - A+
The skipper did absolutely everything he could to will his team on Thursday night, but didn't have many come with him. He even looked good at full forward late in the game.
Adam Treloar - A-
A heavily contested night for Treloar, who did a lot of his work on the inside, but still found his usual numbers.
Bailey Dale - B+
Incredible to think Luke Beveridge had this guy out of his side by choice. Bailey Dale is putting an outstanding season together across half back.
Liam Jones - B+
Liam Jones does not get enough credit for the one-on-one contests he wins. Saved the Bulldogs on multiple occasions tonight.
James Harmes B+
Had to fill a few roles as injuries piled up and spent a bit of time on-ball. Has proved to be an excellent trade period pick-up.
Caleb Daniel - B
Daniel had a big fourth term. The shackles were clearly released a little and he had a game-high nine disposals. Helped get the Dogs back into the game.
Ed Richards - B
Richards could be here to stay as a full time midfielder. A fantastic start to the game cut short by a concussion in the third term. Was on track for an A+ grade.
Ryley Sanders - B
Subbed on almost immediately and made the most of his chance, finding plenty of the footy and gaining some great experience running with Isaac Heeney at stages.
Jamarra Ugle-Hagan - B
Spent a lot of the night as the deepest forward. Kicked 3.2 and competed hard in contests. Is now clearly the focal point going forward with Naughton injured.
Lachlan Bramble - B
Joel Freijah - B-
Looks a natural across the flanks, providing run and carry. Seems a capable mark too given his size. A nice find by the Dogs.
Harvey Gallagher - B-
Sam Darcy - C+
Good luck stopping Sam Darcy from marking the footy after a few pre-seasons of bulking up. Gets his hands to the ball every time. Doesn't yet have the strength to compete with someone like Brodie Grundy in the ruck.
Tim English - C+
Well beaten by Grundy tonight. Well down on his usual numbers across the board.
Alex Keath - C+
Wasn't in the Dogs' first choice side to start the year, but is holding up well in defence at the minute.
Taylor Duryea - C+
Riley Garcia - C+
Used his speed and forward craft to make things happen. Clearly capable of having an impact in bursts.
Rhylee West - C+
Certainly generates opportunities, but squandered them tonight unfortunately. Had a shot for goal on his left that should've been a pass to a teammate.
Bailey Williams - C+
Jack Macrae - C
Are the Bulldogs getting the most out of Jack Macrae? His role on the fringes of the midfield has largely seen him out of the spotlight this year and tonight was no different. Should probably look for a new home next season.
Laitham Vandermeer - C
Aaron Naughton - N/A
Aaron Naughton was carried from the ground early in the second quarter, unable to put any weight through his leg. Immediate fears he may have suffered a serious knee injury.
Anthony Scott - N/A
Subbed out in the first three minutes of the game with a concussion.
Chad Warner - A++
Chad Warner is only 23, but continues to show why he could be a top 20 player in the competition by the end of the season. Everything he touches turns to gold. Four goals and three goal assists sums that up.
Errol Gulden - A+
His kicking was on full display under the roof at Marvel Stadium. Gulden sliced the Bulldogs apart all night.
Brodie Grundy - A
Gave away a 50m penalty and goal early, but battered Tim English around the ball and looked to impose his dominance on Sam Darcy as well. Clearly won the ruck duel.
Nick Blakey - A-
Finds a way to play on and take the game on from situations no other player would, but still holds up in defensive contests. On track for an All-Australian blazer surely.
Oliver Florent - B+
AFL Nation expert Gerard Healy believes Florent should be in the All-Australian calculations. Another 600 metres gained off half back tonight for the recently re-signed Swan.
Isaac Heeney - B
The likely Brownlow Medal favourite had a quieter night, but still kicked a freak goal from the boundary line to put the Dogs to bed in the fourth.
Lewis Melican - B
Tom Papley - B
Didn't fill the stat sheet up, but had a few little efforts that resulted in scoring opportunities.
Dane Rampe - B
Will Hayward - B-
Has quietly kicked 22 goals from 11 games this season. Just consistently hitting the scoreboard and earning himself some serious cash.
James Rowbottom - C+
At one point in the fourth term it looked like Rowbottom would finish with more tackles than disposals, which has pretty much become his brand.
Justin McInerney - C+
Logan McDonald - C+
As Gerard Healy pointed out on the AFL Nation broadcast, Logan McDonald just needs to start clunking some contested marks to take himself to the next level as a key forward.
Joel Amartey - C+
Aaron Francis - C
Hasn't been embarrassed despite some tough matchups in the last few weeks.
Harry Cunningham - C
Jake Lloyd - C
Certainly far less prolific in his new role as a wingman in 2024.
Braeden Campbell - C
Uses the ball well whenever he gets it, but still needs to work on getting it in his hands more often. Hasn't burst on the scene this year.
Sam Wicks - D+
Hayden McLean - D+
Coming off an excellent game last week, it was a much quieter night for the ruck-forward. t
Taylor Adams - D+
A strangely quiet night for Adams. Is he in Sydney's best 22 as a half forward?
James Jordon - D
Started on Bailey Dale and spent time on Ed Richards, but failed to restrict either and had no impact himself.
Matt Roberts - N/A
Came on late as the sub in his return to the senior side.
