Richmond will have to wait a little longer to regain Jacob Hopper, with the midfielder’s hamstring injury recovering slower than expected.

The Tigers now expect Hopper to return in 3-4 weeks. Heading into Round 11, Hopper was a chance to return this weekend against Geelong or, more likely, against Adelaide next week.

He now may not play until after Richmond’s bye, which would slate him in for a Round 16 return against Carlton at the MCG.

The 27-year-old has only played three games in 2024 with two separate hamstring injuries. His last appearance came in Round 7.

Jack Graham, Rhyan Mansell and Jacob Bauer are all listed as 'tests' to return this weekend.

Shai Bolton will miss after being concussed in Dreamtime against Essendon, while Tim Taranto (1-2 weeks) and Tom Lynch (2-3 weeks) aren't far away.
