It's bye week for a number of NRL teams in Round 13 with State of Origin I a week away.
But there's still plenty of rugby league to talk about including Origin camp, the One NZ Warriors' thrilling 24-20 comeback victory against the Dolphins on Sunday, plus the rest of the action around the NRL.
On this episode, Running It Straight hosts Sam Hewat and Anthony Gelling are joined by Canberra fullback Jordan Rapana ahead of the Raiders' clash with the Dolphins.
Currently sitting 13th on the NRL ladder, the Warriors get their first bye of the season and the timing couldn't be better for them - Rocco Berry (hand), Kurt Capewell (calf), Wayde Egan (concussion), Tohu Harris (wrist), Shaun Johnson (pectoral) are all reportedly available from Round 14 onwards.
Their June 8th clash with the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville also sees the return of the stood down Addin Fonua-Blake, Charne Nicoll-Klokstad at full health, and fullback Taine Tuaupiki back from paternity leave following the birth of his first child.
News broke yesterday that the Auckland-based club have already sold out their next two home games against the Melbourne Storm (June 15) and Brisbane Broncos (June 29), with their remaining fixtures at Go Media Stadium for the 2024 season also close to exhausting their ticket availability.
