Coleman Medallist Scott Cummings has ranked his top 10 players in the AFL ahead of Round 12 of the 2024 season.

Cummings releases his power rankings weekly on SEN WA Breakfast.

This week he included both Melbourne’s Max Gawn and Sydney’s Chad Warner, while Sydney’s Errol Gulden and Port Adelaide’s Connor Rozee come out.

He has a watch list consisting of Gulden, Rozee and Patrick Cripps.

10. Caleb Serong (Fremantle)

“Caleb Serong is at 10 and he’s drifted from number seven.

“It’s my opinion, but I’m not sure he has a massive impact with his possessions … he’s a very good player, but I need to watch more what he does with the footy.”

9. Max Gawn (Melbourne)

“He comes in at nine. One of the most important and most impactful players in the competition.”

8. Charlie Curnow (Carlton)

7. Tom Green (GWS)

“Tom Green has drifted from three to seven.”

6. Chad Warner (Sydney)

“Warner debuts on this list and he comes straight into six.

“Warner has gone ahead of Gulden.”

5. Christian Petracca (Melbourne)

4. Zach Merrett (Essendon)

“Zach Merrett has risen from six to four.”

3. Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs)

2. Nick Daicos (Collingwood)

1. Isaac Heeney (Sydney)
