The Australian Football Hall of Fame inducted six new members and elevated another to Legend status on Tuesday night.
Hawthorn champion Jason Dunstall became the 32nd Legend of the game when he was formally inducted at the Hall of Fame ceremony at Centrepiece in Melbourne.
Dunstall kicked 1254 goals - the third highest in V/AFL history - won four premierships with the Hawks, claimed three Coleman Medals and was twice an All-Australian.
As Dunstall became a Legend, a new sextet entered the Hall of Fame for the first time.
Collingwood premiership player, Brownlow Medallist, five-time All-Australian and three-time Copeland Trophy winner Dane Swan was accepted into Australian football’s Hall of Fame.
Joining him was Footscray legend Kelvin Templeton who won the 1980 Brownlow Medal and was twice a Coleman Medal and Charles Sutton Medal winner with the Bulldogs. He also spent a few years at Melbourne.
Inaugural Adelaide captain and Glenelg legend Chris McDermott was also inducted, alongside NSW pioneer Ralph Robertson, WA and West Perth legend Ray Schofield and Sturt, St Mary’s and Indigenous great Michael Graham.
