Australian basketball legend Andrew Gaze has named his starting fives for both the Boomers and Opals ahead of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
The Boomers are coming off winning their first Olympic Medal after claiming bronze in Tokyo, while the Opals last medalled in 2012 with a bronze.
Both teams enter Paris with medal hopes at the forefront of their minds and Gaze attempted to pick his ideal starting fives for both the men’s and women’s from point guard to centre.

The Boomers have been drawn in Group A alongside Canada and the winner of two qualifying tournaments in Spain and Greece.
The Opals have been drawn in Group B alongside Nigeria, France and Canada.
