Mark Keane was non-committal when quizzed on his future at the Adelaide Crows.
The 24-year-old defender continues to be linked with former club Collingwood, with the Magpies showing interest as they look for a long-term replacement for retired premiership player Nathan Murphy.
Keane, who is contracted with the Crows for 2025, says he is no hurry to sort his playing future just yet.
“I’m contracted here for next year, but just holding off on stuff until the end of the season,” he said on SEN SA Breakfast.
“We’ll see what happens there.”
Some recent reports have suggested that Keane is open to a Magpies return, however, the Irishman stopped short of dropping any hints regarding what’s next.
“I’m not too sure how that kind of stuff works so I’ll hold off on that and wait until the end of the season,” he added.
“I just want to focus on playing footy, so we’ll just see how that goes.”
Keane played five games for the Magpies across 2020 and 2021 after initially joining as a Category B rookie.
He joined the Crows prior to the 2023 season and this year is enjoying a career-best campaign in defence.
