It's a bye week for the One NZ Warriors following their 13-12 golden point loss to the Canterbury Bulldogs last weekend, but that hasn't kept the club out of the headlines for Round 19.

Along with the announcement that the Warriors have been confirmed for the NRL's grand season opener at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the fallout in the media has continued following another controversy surrounding The Bunker.

NRL referees boss Graham Annesley has admitted that there was an error made by the Bunker official, who failed to award a penalty against the Bulldogs for Jaeman Salmon's late tackle on Warriors halfback Te Maire Martin.

Annesley labelled it 'unacceptable' but pundits and fans alike have deemed his response to be the same.

While there's no game to preview, and the State of Origin series decider is still a week away, the latest episode of Running It Straight is focusing on the headlines, along with previewing the five matches that do take place Thursday to Sunday.

George revealed to SENZ that the Vegas matchup against the Canberra Raiders will be an 'away' game for the Auckland-based club, rather than giving up one of their annual home fixtures for the trip - which was a non-negotiable for the Warriors' inclusion.
