Cam Zurhaar is looking likely to stay put at North Melbourne, Tom Morris is reporting.
The Kangaroos forward is out of contract at the end of the year and has been rumoured to have been looking around.
With clubs like the Sydney Swans circling, Channel 9’s Morris says Zurhaar has seen enough from the Kangaroos this season to want to recommit at Arden Street.
"My information this morning is that there is increasing confidence he will stay," Morris told SEN's Crunch Time.
"What he wanted to see was development and improvement and since round 11 he has seen that.
"There is no signature, nothing formal but I'm prepared to say it would be a big surprise if he played anywhere but North Melbourne next year."
Zurhaar, 25, joined North Melbourne in the 2016 rookie draft and is the one of the Roos’ most talented players. He signed a two-year extension in September of 2022 and becomes a restricted free agent this year, meaning he is eligible to move clubs without being traded.
