How netball great rose to prominence from one of England's most famous sporting families

Netball coach Tracey Neville is this week's guest on This Is Your Journey – thanks to Tobin Brothers.

The inaugural head coach of the Melbourne Mavericks, Neville is a former England Rose having played 81 times for her country from 1996 to 2008.

Neville hails from one of England’s most famous sporting families, with Tracey a world renowned netball player before turning coach, while her brothers Gary and Phil both had storied careers in football for their national team and Manchester United.

After her glittering playing career, Neville coached in England with Team Northumbria, the Northern/Manchester Thunder and even led the national side.

While coaching the national side, she guided the Roses to the 2018 Commonwealth Games Gold Medal.

Neville joined the Mavericks as their inaugural coach for this Super Netball Season after serving as an assistant for the title-winning Adelaide Thunderbirds.
