The One NZ Warriors have four games remaining in the 2024 NRL season and they need to win all four to keep their faint hopes of playing Finals football alive.
Shaun Johnson has dominated the rugby league headlines in New Zealand this week with the announcement the 14-year veteran is set to retire at the conclusion of this season. But now, the focus turns to the Warriors' matchup against the Dolphins.
Tevita Pangai Jnr and Kodi Nikorima will return from injury on Sunday afternoon as part of Wayne Bennett's side. The most notable change for Andrew Webster's squad is the return of Ed Kosi to the wing, which shifts Roger Tuivasa-Sheck back into the centres and Moala Graham-Taufa out.
This week on SENZ's Running It Straight, hosts Sam Hewat and Anthony Gelling are joined live in studio by Luke Metcalf and Freddy Lussick from the Warriors.
Metcalf suffered a leg fracture back in Round 4 against Newcastle, which has had the young playmaker ruled out until last weekend when he ran out for the Warriors' reverse grade side in the NSW Cup. Webster revealed to media on Tuesday that it would be 'unfair' to rush the 25-year-old back into first grade.
The pair will be taking questions from listeners during the hour-long show - text in on 88 33 or leave a comment on the SENZ YouTube's live chat.
