With the home and away season coming to an end for 10 clubs this weekend, we felt it time for some reflection.

Brad Johnson and Kane Cornes went through each non-finals club on SEN’s Sportsday and assessed who they believe will finish in the top three of their respective best and fairest counts.

North Melbourne is next after and up and down season under Alastair Clarkson.

Johnson’s Top 3

1 - Harry Sheezel
2 - Tristan Xerri
3 - Luke Davies-Uniacke

Johnson: “I’ve gone with Sheezel to win it just over Tristan Xerri then 'LDU' (Davies-Uniacke) third.

“But it wouldn’t surprise me if we did see Xerri hold up the B&F at North Melbourne.”

Cornes: “I could make a case for both.

“It just depends how the coaches vote. Often consistency is rewarded. Sheezel has been highly consistent but also brilliant.

“I think you’ve nailed that.”

The Top 3 in 2023
