The manager of Harry McKay has emphatically shut down any chance the Carlton forward will be traded.
McKay has been tied to a potential blockbuster exchange involving wantaway Melbourne midfielder Christian Petracca.
But David Trotter of Hemisphere Management said there was no substance to his client being involved or even getting involved.
“There is absolutely no way Harry would consider going to Melbourne,” Trotter said.
“Harry will not be going anywhere. Carlton have said it’s not coming from them and Melbourne have said its not coming from them.
“Harry is an absolute no. 100 per cent.”
The Blues are set to speak to McKay today to put him at ease as the club prepares for an elimination final against Brisbane next Saturday night.
McKay signed a new seven-year deal with Carlton in 2022, tying him to the club until the end of 2030.
