Essendon has made three list changes after their 2024 came to an end with Saturday’s loss to Brisbane at the Gabba.

Those changes are a trio of delistings with Nick Hind, Tex Wanganeen and Kaine Baldwin all being told that they won’t be offered new deals for 2025.

Hind played 74 games in the red and black after joining the club from St Kilda in 2020. Father-son Wanganeen joined the Dons as an SSP addition and played five senior games, while Baldwin appeared eight times across four seasons as injuries cruelled his time at the club.

Essendon general manager of footy Daniel McPherson thanked the trio for their efforts at the club.

“Nick, Tex and Kaine have all been popular members of our footy club who showed resilience and determination to get the most out of their footy careers during their time with us,” McPherson told the club’s website.

“We thank them for their contribution to the red and black and they leave knowing they will always be a part of the Essendon footy club. We wish each of them all the best for the next stage of their careers both on and off the field.”
