Which players should have been given coaches votes for their finals week two performances?

Champion Data’s Daniel Hoyne has named four players who were perhaps overlooked by the coaches on the weekend.

The below guys ranked high in Champion Data’s ratings yet did not receive any votes.

See the players below:

Willem Drew (Port Adelaide)

“On Friday night, Willem Drew I thought was so impactful,” Hoyne said on SEN Sportsday.

“We had him as the second-highest rated player on the ground.

“But he didn't get a vote from the coaches, I’m fascinated to see what he does this week.

“We spoke about Errol Gulden last week, and I think he is their most important player.

“I'm going straight for Gulden with a Drew tag.”

Lachie Jones (Port Adelaide)

“Let’s give just a bit of love for Lachie Jones as well.

“He was Port's third highest rated player on the weekend, but didn’t get a vote.

“He was the number one rated half-back from the weekend.”

Oscar McInerney (Brisbane)

“Oscar McInerney is in really good form at the moment.

“What about the goal that he kicked in a forward 50 stoppage?

“I thought his impact on the on the game was superb”

Jaspa Fletcher (Brisbane)

“Another kid who's got a good finals record so far is Jaspa Fletcher.

“He was the fifth highest rated player on the ground, but didn't get a vote from the coaches.

“His performance against Port Adelaide last year in the Qualifying Final was superb, so he’s establishing himself in September.”
