Jeremy McGovern has claimed the 2024 John Worsfold Medal at West Coast’s best and fairest count.
The star defender finally broke through as club champion after more than a decade at the Eagles, adding the 2024 B&F to the fifth All-Australian blazer he won this year.
McGovern, 32, is now a premiership-winning best and fairest after finishing second back in 2017.
He polled 184 votes to beat midfielder and two-time winner Elliot Yeo (177) with All-Australian forward Jake Waterman (155) third. Liam Duggan (141) and Brady Hough (136) rounded out the top five.
Other award winners on the night included Harley Reid who was named Best Emerging Talent, co-captain Duggan who won the Chris Mainwaring Medal for best clubman and McGovern again who claimed the Eagles in the Community Award.
