SEN’s Dwayne Russell has completed another finals week three pressure meter, this time with a twist.
As well as ranking the teams of who he has most under pressure, Russell listed the four individuals he thinks are under the pump to produce on Preliminary Final weekend.
Russell’s pressure meter ranks individuals from 1-4, with number one having the most pressure on them and the most to lose heading into the weekend.
Check out Russell’s pressure meter below.
1. Eric Hipwood (Brisbane forward)
“I think there are a few guys under pressure and Eric Hipwood might be number one,” Russell told SEN Afternoons.
“He needs to have a big final.”
2. Charlie Dixon (Port Adelaide forward)
“I reckon Charlie Dixon, is number two.
“Ken has shown faith in Charlie and after bringing Charlie in, he's got to repay it.
“He can't be the guy who becomes a liability.
“He's been a great player, Charlie Dixon, over time, but if he's going to come in he has to deliver.
“I think the pressure will be on Charlie.”
3. Cam Rayner (Brisbane forward)
“Cam Rayner is probably at three.
“Just eight disposals and no scoreboard impact last week.”
4. Joel Amartey (Sydney forward)
“Joel Amartey had four possessions, two kicks, one goal and five tackles last game.
“The five tackles made a good game in the end for Joel, but I think there's a bit of pressure on him as well as people wonder if Sydney are too tall up forward.”
Sydney v Port Adelaide takes place at the SCG from 7:40pm AEST on Friday night.
Geelong v Brisbane is at the MCG on Saturday from 5:15pm AEST.
