Geelong has announced seven list changes, with Brandan Parfitt and Gary Rohan among those delisted by the club on Tuesday.
Parfitt, 26, farewells the club after 130 games including nine in 2024, while Rohan, 33, played 98 games for Geelong as well as 106 games for Sydney from 2010 to 2018.
The other names who weren’t offered contracts for 2025 were Phoenix Foster, Oscar Murdoch, James Willis, Mitch Hardie and Emerson Jeka.
Jeka played seven games for Hawthorn before moving to Geelong where he didn’t add to that tally, while the other Cats never made their AFL debuts for the club.
Cats footy boss Andrew Mackie thanked the players for their efforts at GMHBA Stadium.
“This time of year is always difficult and to farewell seven great teammates is never easy,” Mackie said via a statement.
“Both members of our 2022 Premiership team, Brandan and Gary have had a profound on-field impact in the Hoops, but it can’t be overstated the influence they both have had on their teammates and the Club more broadly. They have both been incredible for our football program and the wider Geelong community.
“We thank Phoenix, James, Oscar, Mitch and Emerson for their contribution to our football program, we wish them all the best in their next chapter.”
The list news follows the retirements of both Tom Hawkins and Zach Tuohy.
