Coleman Medallist Scott Cummings has ranked his 10 most important players for Saturday's AFL Grand Final between Sydney and Brisbane.

While Cummings’ power rankings usually focuses on the entire AFL and centres around the competition’s best 10 players, his Grand Final edition includes only the players from the remaining two teams.

He’s ranked those names based on who needs to perform for their team to lift the cup aloft.

Check out his top 10 below.

10. Callum Ah Chee (Brisbane)

“I reckon he has been really important to them, and if he bobs up and kicks a couple, he could have a really big impact.”

9. Tom Papley (Sydney)

“As Gerard calls him the fire starter, he needs to be absolutely quintessential Tom Papley on Saturday.”

8. Nick Blakey (Sydney)

“He gives them all their run from across half-back, and if he has the footy in his hands Brisbane are in trouble."

7. Eric Hipwood (Brisbane)

“If he doesn’t get a kick Brisbane don’t win.”

6. Josh Dunkley (Brisbane)

“He needs to get the footy himself too and stop either a Heeney or a Warner”

“He either needs to be really damaging when he’s got the footy, or somehow quell one of those two.”

5. Brodie Grundy (Sydney)

“He needs to dominate this game, he’s the number one ruckman out on the field, Grundy needs to set up those elite midfielders.”

4. Joe Daniher (Brisbane)

“I think he needs to kick five for Brisbane (to win).”

3. Lachie Neale (Brisbane)

“Lachie Neale needs to have the biggest impact on a game that he’s ever had, we know he’s going to get 25 to 30, maybe more, but he needs to have a serious impact when he’s got that ball”

“He sures it up and uses it really well, which will help them keep possesion, but I think he needs to be damaging.”

2. Isaac Heeney (Sydney)

“We know what he’s going to bring, he’s had an outstanding year of football.”

1. Chad Warner (Sydney)

“And number 1 for mine is the (future) Norm Smith medallist in Chad Warner.”
