Grand Final special: Former Lion and Swan reflect on AFL GF memories from the 2000s

With the 2024 AFL decider just completed, this week’s episode of This Is Your Journey – thanks to Tobin Brothers was a Grand Final special.

The two guests who joined the show were former members of Saturday’s competing teams – Sydney and Brisbane – in Adam Schneider and Luke Power.

Schneider won a premiership with Sydney in 2005, and he reflected on his memories from that game as well as the losing Grand Final for the Swans in 2006 to West Coast.

The small forward also featured in three more Grand Finals with St Kilda, in 2009 against Geelong and both games in 2010 against Collingwood.

Power had a bit more luck on Grand Final day winning three flags for the Lions in 2001, 2002 and 2003.

He also played in a losing decider in 2004 against Port Adelaide.
