“Ready to run peak”: Ciaron Maher rates the stable’s best winning chance of the weekend

Ciaron Maher has named his stable’s best winning chance for the coming weekend.

Maher Racing will saddle up Future History in the Metropolitan at Randwick and he presents as a great winning hope in the Group 1 over 2400m.

“Future History is ready to run a peak,” Maher said on SENTrack’s Giddy Up.

“Gets a good draw, good run, good weight, and he’s in good form.

“I’m going to go with Future History (as the stable’s best this weekend).”

Future History ran second in the Group 3 Naturalism at Caulfield last time out on September 21 after running third in the Listed Heatherlie at the same track in late August.

The seven-year-old gelding will be ridden by Zac Wadick at the light weight of 51.5kg.

He is currently a $9.50 chance with Sportsbet for Saturday’s Metrop.
