Josh Jenkins has outlined Port Adelaide’s biggest hits and misses from the last five years of drafting and recruiting players.
The former Adelaide Crows forward will assess each of the 18 clubs on AFL Trade Radio and provide what he believes have been the hits and misses when it comes to player acquisition over the last half decade.
Read his thoughts on the Power below:
“They traded for Jason Horne-Francis after 2022 and he’s the big hit,” Jenkins told The Late Trade
“He is going to produce so much his explosiveness is unbelievable.
“Just being in an AFL system for two, three, four years, he’s going to get even better.
“Having the courage to make the deal alongside him coming in has been huge for the club.”
“The big miss is the free agency,” Jenkins added.
“It's just escaped them for whatever reason, maybe they haven't played in that space much at all, but they just haven't been able to grab a player effectively for free in that space.
“They are aggressive, they are a team who are willing to throw their hat in the ring, but they just haven’t landed free agents.”
