Eagles CEO defends trade of pick 3, confirms trade interest in wantaway midfielder

West Coast CEO Don Pyke has spoken in defence of the club’s trade of pick 3.

Eagles fans online are ropeable with their call to part with the prised selection, handing it to Carlton for picks 12, 14 and Matt Owies.

Speaking on SEN WA Mornings, Pyke said the club is nowhere near done in the trade period and hopes to re-enter the top 10 of the draft via the Tom Barrass to Hawthorn deal.

Pyke also spoke on the acquisition of Liam Baker, where the Barrass trade sits and their interest in Deven Robertson.
