Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is gearing up for a massive month of golf in November 2024, showcasing an unrivalled slate of content across audio, digital, and TV platforms.

Across November, SEN will deliver comprehensive coverage of some of the biggest events in Australian golf, including the ISPS HANDA Australian Open and BMW Australian PGA Championship, ensuring fans are immersed in the action wherever they are.

From November 14 to 17, SEN’s production company, Rainmaker, will play a crucial role in capturing Cam Smith’s return to Australian shores, when he contests the 2024 NSW Open at Murray Downs Golf & Country Club. The tournament – which will also feature Lucas Herbert and Geoff Ogilvy – will be broadcast live on 7plus from November 15 to 17, as well as live on 7two on November 17, from 12pm to 5pm.

Other Golf NSWevents produced by Rainmaker and featured across the Seven Network include the 2024 Men’s Senior Open, which was broadcast live from Thurgoona on 7plus on November 3, the 2025 Australian Women’s Classic, to be hosted by Coffs Harbour Golf Club on March 16, the 2025 Women’s NSW Open, to be held at the Wollongong Golf Club from March 20 to 23, and the World Sand Greens Championship in March 2025.

As part of a three-year strategic partnership with Golf NSW, SEN proudly produces a number of Men’s and Women’s regional and Open qualifier events annually, which are streamed across the SEN App and Golf NSW websites.

Golf NSW CEO, Stuart Fraser, said: “Golf NSW’s partnership with SEN has proved a unique opportunity to showcase and promote golf across many superb regional courses in NSW.”

“The highlight of the men’s summer of golf will of course be Cameron Smith and Lucas Herbert playing the NSW Open at Murray Downs Golf & Country Club, however, we are equally as excited to once again co-sanction with the Ladies European Tour and host their best players at the Women’s NSW Open and Australian Women’s Classic in March 2025.”

Notably, SEN also will be the exclusive audio rights holder of the 2024 ISPS HANDA Australian Open, hosted at Kingston Heath and The Victoria golf clubs from November 28 to December 1.

Featuring the likes of Cam Smith plus Min Woo Lee, Hannah Green and Marc Leishman, SEN will broadcast five hours of golf across all four days of the tournament, bringing golf fans on course and around Australia complete play-by-play coverage, with Andy Maher hosting SEN’s comprehensive broadcast.

The coverage will be heard across all SEN’s sport stations, and will be available for fans on course to listen with no delay via SEN Stadium, or sync up to their TVs at home using SEN Sync.

SEN will then provide coverage and crosses from the BMW Australian PGA Championship, hosted at Brisbane’s Royal Queensland Golf Club from November 21 to 24.

Chief Executive Officer of SEN, Craig Hutchison, said the business was proud to call itself the ‘home of golf’ throughout November.

"November is shaping up to be a huge month of golf for SEN and our partners. Our exclusive audio rights with the Australian Open, paired with our expert commentary team and cutting-edge technology like SEN Stadium, will ensure listeners and viewers across the country don’t miss a minute of the action. We’re excited to bring golf fans this world-class coverage across our audio, digital, and TV platforms."

PGA of Australia CEO, Gavin Kirkman, said: “Our new Challenger PGA of Australasia Tour season is off to a great start and it’s going to get even bigger with our Aussie majors to come.”

“We’re excited about watching our best professionals, including our overseas-based stars, vie for the Kirkwood Cup at the BMW Australian PGA Championship at Royal Queensland, and then the Stonehaven Cup and Patricia Bridges Bowl at the ISPS HANDA Australian Open on the famed Melbourne Sandbelt at Kingston Heath and The Victoria golf clubs.

“It will be two fantastic weeks of the best of Australian golf. Of course, we kick off November with a major champion in Cam Smith back on our Tour at the Queensland PGA Championship and NSW Open. That will be a major highlight.

“It’s going to be awesome period for golf in Australia and we’re delighted to have the team at SEN on board to bring our Tour to all of our golf fans.”
