Tim O'Connor has done the form for tonight's meeting at Melton Entertainment Park, which is headlined by Breeders Crown heats for the pacers.

R1 – 6.02pm – Pebble Beach Breeders Crown (2yo Fillies) (Heat) – 2240m
2 – Let Her Roll
9 – Sugar Honey Pie
3 – Brighton
7 – Lilly Lotus
R2 – 6.30pm – IRT Breeders Crown (2yo Colts & Geldings) (1st Heat) – 2240m
1 – Viney
2 – Golden Tribe
5 – Fairplay
7 – Crocodile Socks
R3 – 7.02pm – IRT Breeders Crown (2yo Colts & Geldings) (2nd Heat) – 2240m
2 – Hesitate
3 – Schwarz
8 – Arsenio
7 – Ray Dan
Hesitate was back to his best last time out and I fancy he can win again this evening. Schwarz was a brilliant second to him last time out, but the barrier advantage and better price leaves me keen to back Damien Burns’ runner.
BACK: 2 Hesitate – 1 unit (win)
R4 – 7.32pm – Lather Up @ Woodlands Stud Breeders Crown (3yo Colts & Geldings) (1st Heat) – 2240m
6 – Some American
1 – Kingman
5 – Bay Of Biscay
8 – Nathan Street
Some American has run six-straight second placings – including a top effort in the Victoria Derby Final - but I’m in his corner to go one better tonight. He has the speed to carve over from his wide gate, and with little pressure expected, Ashleigh Delosa can go all the way from the front.
BACK: 6 Some American – 1 unit (win)
R5 – 7.58pm – Lather Up @ Woodlands Stud Breeders Crown (3yo Colts & Geldings) (2nd Heat) – 2240m
4 – Miki To Success
2 – Collective Works
3 – Ravishing Sloy
8 – Sir Jimmy
R6 – 8.28pm – Nutrien Equine Breeders Crown (3yo Fillies) (1st Heat) – 2240m
1 – Kiss
2 – Waterfront
4 – Golly Gee Fellas
5 – Sweet Ideal
Kiss was simply outstanding at her latest outing when second in the Victoria Oaks behind Coastal Babe. She sat in the 1x2 and charged late to cut the margin to 2m in a slick last quarter. She probably trails stablemate Waterfront here and I think she can dash too quickly for them in the home straight.
BACK: 1 Kiss – 3.5 units (win)
R7 – 8.58pm – Nutrien Equine Breeders Crown (3yo Fillies) (2nd Heat) – 2240m
1 – Eureka Jo 5 – Stitched Up Dan 4 – Sweetnikkilou 6 – Bubby To Base
R8 – 9.28pm – City Of Melton Trot – 1720m
7 – Saydie
3 – Tougher
2 – My High Peak
1 – Captain Graywood
Saydie produced a superb run for second when making an early mistake at Bendigo on October 2 and then won from the death seat at the same track last time out. If she trots the whole way, she might just be too classy for this lot.
BACK: 7 Saydie – 2 units (win)
R9 – 9.58pm – Kuehne + Nagel Pace – 1720m
2 – Burning Tickets
7 – Deuce Coupe
4 - Mon Soleil
3 – Aussiepride
Burning Tickets has been getting home nicely in his recent runs and finds a very winnable race here, particularly now with the scratching of pole-marker Letsgo Matilda.
BACK: 2 Burning Tickets – 2.5 units (win)
