The night racing season continues with a nine-race program in Launceston on Wednesday.
Field sizes are capped at 10 for most races with the rail in the +10m 1200m-W/Post; +6m Remainder position.
The forecast points towards a good-rated track, with the first race scheduled for 17:17.

Race 6 – 3. Sharma’s Last
Sharma’s Last has been a beast this preparation, winning all three starts and is on a path to the Ladbrokes Devonport Cup in January. He made light work of a BM76 race last start, where he carried 60kg and defied a huge betting drift. He’s drawn to get the run of the race, and drops 4kg from his most recent winning effort, which was in good time. This race presents a good battle between Sharma’s Last and Cartoon Graveyard, but I strongly lean toward the former.
Race 9 – 1. Geegees City Boy
I’m with Team Wells in the last as Trent Wells trains Geegees City Boy, with his niece Chloe in the saddle. Geegees City Boy has finished second in all three first-up runs, finishing behind some pretty handy types retrospectively. He was looked after in a recent trial and has a nice trailing to draw to stalk a likely strong speed and finish over the top.
Race 7 – 1. Kickpass
Kickpass looks over the odds in the second leg of the quaddie. He resumed in a fast run 1400m race where he landed in a good spot, but was only able to hold ground in the run to the line. He’ll strip fitter for that and has the pole draw and blinkers for the first time. He’s a lot less exposed than most in this class 1 field and looks a good each-way bet at double figures.
