Adelaide selected Sid Draper with Pick 4 in the first round of Wednesday night’s AFL Draft.
The South Adelaide product out of Willunga is considered one of the prime midfielders from this year’s draft class.
He grew up a Crows supporter and was absolutely thrilled to be making a home at his childhood club
“I’m honestly over the moon,” Draper said on SEN SA Breakfast.
“This has been a dream of mine ever since I was a kid supporting this club and cheering them from the stands.
“To think I’ll be pulling on that jumper and representing the team is absolutely surreal.”

Port Adelaide picked Joe Berry with Pick 15.
The Murray Bushrangers product out of Wangaratta joins the Power as a crafty small forward with great goal sense.
He admits he was a little taken aback when Port called out his name on Wednesday night.
“Having that little bit of surprise and not knowing where I was going was pretty cool,” Berry said on SEN SA Breakfast.
“I’m honoured to get drafted by Port Adelaide and I can’t wait to get started.”
