Newly signed Brisbane Broncos halfback Ben Hunt has broken his silence on his exit from the St George Illawarra Dragons and his excitement to return to his former club.

Hunt’s signature has dominated the November 1 free agency period. Several powerhouse clubs including the Sydney Roosters and Canterbry Bankstown Bulldogs were in negotiations to acquire the 34-year-old halfback.

However, Hunt ignored those offers and opted to return home to Queensland. The Maroons and Australia representative spoke with SEN on his decision.
