Racing is back for another Thursday and boy oh boy what a night we have in store. Headlining the card are the features, the entree is the Spark Final with 12k to the winner and the main course for your night the The Queensland Flame, the winner takes home 60 large and makes their way to the world's richest greyhound race on December 21st at The Meadows for The Phoenix! What a field we have assembled and I can't wait to see how the race pans out. Tonight's card is 11 races, the first at 7:31pm and the last, Race 11 is scheduled for 2 minutes to 11. R2 N1 TAGOVAILOA

Been racing over the middle distance trips of 600m plus and was a nice run last start when 3rd behind Serrai. Draws favourably tonight to win and will get a lovely run with a wise runner in 2 and minimal pace in the field as a whole. 11 starts for 2 wins and 5 minor placings off the cherry shows he handles the draw and although it's been a while between winning drinks i feel tonight he winds back the clock. Pretty keen!

R7 N7 MR SPRINGTIME (PLACE)

Fast dog on his day but hasn't always wanted to win of late. Seems to idle up to the leader and not go past hence the place play here tonight. Maps to perfection as long as the 8 doesn't cut our run off early. 16 starts for 4 wins and 4 placings off box seven and has lost to some very classy canines the past four starts in Trooper Tears, Jay is Jay, Brunswick Flyer & All Natural. Expect a forward position early and hopefully something to chase in front.

R10 N5 CRAB POT

Last start was enormous and the start prior to that was impressive. Improves week by week and maps to get a lovelt run here tonight. Wide runner with pace in 6 holds off the wider brigade and minimal speed inside to hold us out. Expect to muster and lead on the first turn and can break 30 seconds with a clean run. Last week ran 30.28 and was cut in half early, steps tonight and get in the cue early!!

R3 N8 BIG EASY AL

Stiff as they come last week when spearing the lids in 5.49 and being clipped on the first turn when looking to boot clear. Gets a lovely cart into the race tonight with speed inside in 6 & 7 and trouble expected in the inside division. Record off box 8 is the only concern with four cracks for donuts. Was an encouraging run two starts back behind Saanvi and should have improved since then. Each way play!

R8 N1 AUTUMN STORM

Underrated type and has been known to upset the favorites off this draw. Form is hard to fault with the Ipswich cup win under the belt beating smart Victorian type in Smooth Plane who is locked away for the Phoenix. Mps well tonight with no speed in 2 and potentially 3. Almost crossed from eight last week and has to step clean here tonight to avoid getting buried back in the field. Record off the red is good, a two time winner from six starts and four minors. Pretty keen on a 1 x 3 basis.
