R1 – 6.33pm – Camp Quality Convoy Geelong Feb 23 Pace – 1609m

7 – Breathe Easy
9 – Caledonian Terra
6 – Shady Dancer
8 – Auckland Red

R2 – 7.03pm – Evolution Lodge Trot – 1609m

5 – Aldebaran Campbell 3 – Dicko Dixon 6 – Chinski 8 – Kalarney Prince

Hard race give the key winning hope Aldebaran Campbell can do lots wrong, but I reckon Dicko Dixon can get down to the pegs and run some sort of race at each-way odds.

BACK: 3 Dicko Dixon – 0.5 unit (win)/2.5 units (place)

R3 – 7.33pm – The Lang Memorial Trotters Handicap (1st Heat) – 2100m

10 – Paris Jamilla 7 – Old Villa Boy 8 – Frosty Girl 6 – Champagne Charley

If she does everything right, Paris Jamilla might be a bit too classy in a difficult race to figure out.

BACK: 10 Paris Jamilla – 1 unit (win)

R4 – 8.02pm – Haras Des Trotteurs Trot – 1609m

7 – Emmwallen
1 – Mont Sally
3 – You Got Me Good
4 – Leanne Leeann

Tricky barrier for lightly-raced three-year-old Emmwallen to negotiate first-up from a break, but there’s no stars here and I’m taking a chance that he might be a bit more progressive than his rivals. Thought a recent Geelong trial was good, and this is certainly a race he can win.

BACK: 7 Emmwallen – 3 units (win)

R5 – 8.33pm – Ocira Concrete Structures Pace – 1609m

6 – Le Twist
1 – Mr Teddy
9 – Maas Betting Again
3 – Ynobe Dakota

R6 – 9.03pm – Apco - We've Got You Pace – 1609m

2 – Balboa Rock
4 – Dance Away
5 – Ooh Ah Listah
7 – Jilliby Selwood

Fully appreciate Balboa Rock is a nice horse, but he’s massively short in the market despite his obvious winning credentials. Given the prices, I’m happy to have small bets on Dance Away and Ooh Ah Listah, who are both going well and can pounce if the favourite isn’t on his game first-up from a break.

BACK: 4 Dance Away and 5 Ooh Ah Listah – 0.5 unit (win)

R7 – 9.33pm – Hoyts Foods 3yo Maiden Pace – 1609m

4 – My Kgari 7 – Lilstrepo 5 – Another Puddin 3 – Our Eyes Emoji

Thought this was a wide-open race and reckon the top two in the market are a touch short, so happy to be with My Kgari here. The run last time out was brave in fast enough time for this grade and a second to Excelzior in October reads well given that horse has won again since.

BACK: 4 My Kgari – 2 units (win)
