Which team will improve the most in season 2025?

That is one of the questions we asked recently in the SEN AFL Fan Survey.

More than 2,000 people voted in what is a very competitive category among the 13 teams nominated.

(We did not include premiers Brisbane, runners-up Sydney or Geelong, GWS and Port Adelaide who made up the top five in 2024).

SURVEY

North Melbourne sits narrowly on top with 15.5 per cent, slightly ahead of Gold Coast on 15.3 per cent.

The Kangaroos have been near the bottom for the past few seasons but it is felt that they could improve under Alastair Clarkson with a very talented yet inexperienced list.

The Suns are still searching for their maiden finals berth but footy fans believe Damien Hardwick might just be able to find different ways to cook the sausages on the Gold Coast.

Third on the list is Fremantle at 14.5 per cent with many feeling the Dockers can bounce with a very strong list.

Close up in fourth is Adelaide with 10.9 per cent of the vote, marginally clear of Collingwood on 10 per cent - the 2023 premiers being tipped by many to recoil in 2025 after missing finals in 2024.

Hawthorn, who played in a Preliminary Final last season, have also been tipped to improve with over nine per cent of votes.
