The New Zealand Warriors came crashing down from the highs of their incredible 2023 season, finishing 13th in 2024 as they failed to replicate their top four form.
The Warriors' struggled to get the best out of star signing Roger Tuivasa-Sheck. Addin Fonua-Blake had off-field disciplinary issues and has ultimately left the club to return to Sydney, while 2023 Dally M-runner up Shaun Johnson's farewell season was largely marred by injury.
As 2025 beckons, the Warriors will be hoping to capitalise on their season of sell outs, and settling on a spine with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck more involved will be imperative. The inclusion of James Fisher-Harris from Penrith will offset the loss of Fonua-Blake, but Johnson may be more difficult to replace.
Result: 13th (9W, 1D, 14L)
Signings: James Fisher-Harris (Panthers), Jett Cleary (Panthers), Motu Pasikala (uppgraded), Erin Clark (Titans), Sam Healey (Sharks), Tanah Boyd (Titans)
Losses: Addin Fonua-Blake (Sharks), Jazz Tevaga (Sea Eagles), Marcelo Montoya (Bulldogs), Shaun Johnson (retired)
