Which AFL club is your least favourite?

That is a key question asked by us in the SEN AFL Fan Survey and one that threw up some interesting results.

Interesting but not all that surprising.

It is no shock to see Collingwood at the top of list with more than 23 per cent of the 2,000-plus votes.

The Magpies love to be hated so their standing in this position won’t bother many of a black and white persuasion.

Next is Carlton with more than 16 per cent narrowly ahead of Essendon. The big Victorian clubs are often disliked more than others.

Geelong comes in next, presumably because they never seem to bottom out and opposition fans are envious.

Port Adelaide is the most disliked club outside of Victoria while Hawthorn, West Coast and Adelaide all received three or more per cent of votes.

(We used this question in the 2023 survey and the top five clubs were the same).
