LISTEN | The Dolphins' 2024 Season Review

The Dolphins fell one win short of qualifying for their first finals appearance in 2024, losing their final must-win match against the Newcastle Knights to miss out on September footy.

The Dolphins suffered huge losses early in the season; Tom Gilbert didn't play a minute of 2024, and Tom Flegler was limited to four games with no guarantee to return in 2025.

The emergence of Max Plath, Trai Fuller and Isaiya Katoa were major bright spots for the NRL's newest club, and their development, along with the presence of Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, positions The Dolphins for a strong run at their maiden finals appearance in 2025.

All eyes will be on how The Dolphins respond to the departure of foundation coach Wayne Bennett. However, his replacement, current assistant coach and Tongan national coach Kristian Woolf, is well-positioned to take over.
