What has been each AFL club’s best win over the last 25 years?
On SEN Mornings, Julian De Stoop ran the ‘Club Calibration’ segment which asks various footy questions to see how in sync each fanbase is.
First up was finding out the best win for each of the 18 clubs since the year 2000.
The one rule is that Grand Finals cannot be included.

Adelaide: 2022 Showdown – Jordan Dawson's goal after the siren.
Brisbane: 2013 v Geelong – Ash McGrath's goal after siren. The Miracle on Grass.
Carlton: 2013 Elimination Final v Richmond – Judd, Judd, Judd!
Collingwood: 2022 v Carlton – Late Jamie Elliott goal gives Pies a 1-point win, Blues miss finals.
Essendon: 2009 Anzac Day v Collingwood – Late David Zaharakis goal highlights comeback win for the ages.
Fremantle: 2013 Qualification Final v Geelong – Massive finals win on the road.
Geelong: 2012 v Hawthorn – Tom Hawkins' goal after siren against the enemy.
Gold Coast: 2018 v Sydney – Massive upset after 11 straight defeats. Trailed by five goals at quarter-time at the SCG.
GWS Giants: 2019 Preliminary Final v Collingwood – Undermanned Giants make first Grand Final with unlikely MCG win in the wet.
Hawthorn: 2013 Preliminary Final v Geelong – Hawks come from behind to qualify for the Grand Final. The beginning of a three-peat.
Melbourne: 2021 v Geelong – Max Gawn's goal after siren down at the Cattery.
North Melbourne: 2014 Elimination Final v Essendon – Five-goal final term to down the Dons in a cut-throat final.
Port Adelaide: 2013 Showdown v Adelaide – Last Showdown at Footy Park. Power came from behind to get up by four points in a thriller.
Richmond: 2017 Qualifying Final v Geelong – First finals win since 2001, beating a team who had dominated them for a decade.
St Kilda: 2009 v Geelong – Both teams entered the match undefeated at 13-0. The Saints won a classic. It just overshadows the prelim win over the Dogs later that season.
Sydney: 2005 Semi Final v Geelong – Final-quarter heroics from Nick Davis. “I see it, I see it but I don’t believe it!”
West Coast: 2006 v Geelong – A massive comeback against the Cats in Geelong. It was a miraculous victory.
Western Bulldogs: 2016 Preliminary Final v GWS – Stirring victory in western Sydney on the way to a drought-breaking flag.
