JD Hayes has given his best bets for this weekend's racing at Flemington on Stable Mail.

The Lindsay Park trainer outlined his thoughts on some of the stable's key chances going into the 10-race program at headquarters on Saturday.

(BEST) Race 1 | No. 3 - Marble Arch: “Small field, Jaylah (Kennedy) knows her well. We get the vital two kilos off which gets her to 53 (kg). She’s well found in the market and she’s absolutely flying so I think she’ll run well,” he told Miles Pfitzner onSENTrack's Giddy Up.

Race 2 | No. 8 - Ethereum Girl: “I think she’s above average, she trialled very good at Pakenham on synthetic… from barrier one at $6 I think she’s worth a small bet.”

Race 3 | No. 9 - Macedon Rose: “We haven’t decided whether we go Pakenham or Flemington. She was excellent on debut… the key things is whether we want to step out to a mile… we might have to be disciplined and stay at 1400m (at Pakenham).”

Race 4 | No. 1Luna Cat: “I think she’ll be a nice each-way play. She’s been running well without winning, which is quite frustrating. She is ticking over quite nicely.”

Race 8 | No. 12Independent Road: “He’s a very good Flemington horse, very good chance.”

Race 9 | No. 2 - Le Ferrari: “Very good last start and has held his form… he’ll run another consistent race.”

Race 9 | No. 15Saxon King: “Needs to find his form. We think he’s got nice ability so hopefully he puts his best foot forward.”

Ben, Will & JD Hayes currently sit second on the Vic Metro Premiership standings, only trailing the red-hot Ciaron Maher stable.
