What has been each AFL club’s best decision of the last 25 years?
On SEN Mornings, Julian De Stoop has been running the ‘Club Calibration’ segment which asks various footy questions to see how in sync each fanbase is.
First up was finding out the best win for each of the 18 clubs since the year 2000. Then we had the most traumatic loss.
We also took a look at the best individual player and most underrated player.
Now we have the best decision made by each club.

Adelaide: Resisting pressure to draft Brad Ebert and selecting Patrick Dangerfield instead.
Brisbane: Appointing Chris Fagan as coach.
Carlton: 2015 national draft, selecting Jacob Weitering, Harry McKay and Charlie Curnow.
Collingwood: Appointing Craig McRae as coach.
Essendon: Pick 26, 2013 National Draft – Zach Merrett.
Fremantle: Pick 20, 2009 National Draft – Nat Fyfe.
Geelong: Keeping Bomber Thompson at the end of 2006.
Gold Coast: Drafting Matt Rowell and Noah Anderson as a package deal.
GWS Giants: Nailing their inaugural captains – Callan Ward and Phil Davis.
Hawthorn: Listening to Jason Dunstall and appointing Alastair Clarkson.
Melbourne: Appointing Paul Roos as coach.
North Melbourne: Not moving to the Gold Coast and staying in Melbourne.
Port Adelaide: Moving to Adelaide Oval.
Richmond: Appointing Brendon Gale as CEO. Keeping Damien Hardwick as coach in 2016.
St Kilda: Moving back to Moorabbin.
Sydney: Trading for Josh Kennedy from Hawthorn.
West Coast: Not succumbing to huge offers for Pick 1 and using it on Harley Reid.
Western Bulldogs: Appointing Luke Beveridge as coach.
