Trainer Tom Dabernig has confirmed the stable is set to have a crack at a key juvenile race with Cavalry Girl.

The two-year-old Bivouac filly won her maiden at Flemington last Saturday by comfortably accounting for her rivals by 1.5 lengths over 1000m under Linda Meech.

That came on the back of her second placing on debut to Cherish Me in the Geelong Diamond (1100m) in early January.

Next on the agenda is the $2 million Inglis Millennium (1100m) at Randwick on February 8 with Dabernig confirming those plans on SENTrack’s Giddy Up.

“Joe O’Neill from Prime Thoroughbreds is keen to head to Sydney,” said Dabernig.

“Being restricted to Inglis horses it is a race that could suit her only being her third race start.

“We’ll get her up to Randwick and have a crack at that.”

Cavalry Girl is currently priced at $11 with Sportsbet for the Inglis Millennium.
