The best betting proposition from the Bjorn Baker stable this weekend

The Bjorn Baker stable is flying right now.

This Saturday the in-form trainer will have 10 runners at Rosehill (before scratchings) with winning chances aplenty.

Baker believes that one of his runners in particular - O’ziggy - has come up great value in early markets in Race 6 - a Benchmark-78 over 2000m in which the stable also has Our Anchorage ($6.50 with Sportsbet).

O’ziggy ran well when leading to eventually finish third at Canterbury over 1900m on January 17 and Baker is expecting him to improve this weekend at a nice price of $12 the win and $3.40 the place with Sportsbet (at time of publishing).

“I think he’s a really good each-way price,” Baker said on SENTrack’s Giddy Up.

“I can’t believe it. I was away for a week and got back yesterday morning and he looks absolutely fantastic at the moment.

“I definitely can’t fault him. I think there’s not as much between them as the market would suggest.

“I think he’s in there as a live hope.”

When asked how he’d spend $100 on his runners this weekend, Baker said: “I’m going to go $50 each-way on O’ziggy.”

O’ziggy will be in action at 3:25pm AEDT on Saturday.

James McDonald will ride Chris Waller’s $4.80 favourite Kapakiri with Ciaron Maher’s Piggyback at $5.50 and Baker’s Our Anchorage at $6.50 on the third line of betting.
