David King has warned the Western Bulldogs and Jamarra Ugle-Hagan that fans will “get sick of the nonsense” after it was revealed the troubled star missed the club’s centenary celebrations.
The Dogs’ narrow defeat to Collingwood on Friday night marked the club’s 100 years in the competition, but Ugle-Hagan was nowhere to be seen.
Social media posts place him at Brighton Beach Hotel playing pool instead of the MCG and he was also spotted attending the NBL finals and Melbourne Storm's clash with the Panthers earlier in the week.
“How can you go to the NBL games and not the 100-year celebration?” King said on SEN Breakfast. "Who is advising him?
“You act your way out of footy clubs, in the end people get sick of the nonsense.”
Ugle-Hagan is yet to play for the Dogs this season and only recently returned to training.
There is now a major question mark over his future with the club, with Kane Cornes doubling down on his suggestion the Dogs are better to sever ties.
“This is a circus,” Cornes said.
“The club needs to remove this guy from their program, it’s a significant distraction for Luke Beveridge and this footy club right now.
“We’re spending another day talking about Jamarra. Get him out of the program and move on from this guy. It’s too distracting.”
The Bulldogs’ centenary celebrations ended in a heart-breaking six-point defeat to Collingwood on Friday night.
They take on Carlton at Marvel Stadium on Friday night of Round 3.
