Race 6 | 3. Glove Artist

Needs some luck from the gate but is due some after getting zero last start!! 1300m is lovely third up and there should be enough speed as he probably does settle closer to the back. Max Power and World Action will offer a tempo. The former HK horse Absolute Sunshine will be fitter second up but from that gate will be back a little as it does need further. Good track will suit Glove nicely and if they are running on today, he will go very close!!!

GOSFORD

Race 5 | 1. Fernao

Dropping back from 2400m and won’t go around a horse from that gate so expect him to be a little more forward in the run. There will be a little speed in this with Hunky Dory & Prime Impact go forward and the more speed the more pressure on the fave (Kenmare Bay) stepping up to 2100m from a mile. Nock takes 2 off and I expect this bloke to be fighting hard in the straight and winning.

Race 6 | 6. Sneaky Sofia

Little freshen up helps as runs well first up normally but I think easier race and back to 1000m is even better. Last start in town in a 72 in fast pace didn’t work at all! Think she can take a little seat off plenty of speed. Cripps Tonite will be the speed from gate 1 and again easier than last start in Town on soft track, I think it’s the one they will have to catch and I think SS will.

ARARAT

Race 2 | 9. Miss Slipstream

Last start behind the smart Ad Astra was super. One before behind another two smart horses. This is short but runs up to any of the last two and wins this.

Race 3 | 5. Damas

Loved the way this horse finished off. Yet to see the best of it here in Aus. Up to 1300m and I think we see what this kiwi is made of today.

Race 6 | 1. Absolute Sunshine

Second start now since coming back from Hong Kong. First up started favourite and will be better for it. Expect it to go one better.

Race 7 | 6. Marbilla

Can’t believe the price here as this should be favourite. Last start went under to proved and that form now Franked. Fav here has only knocked off a weak maiden. Unreal price.
