SEN’s Dwayne Russell has named the five teams under the most pressure heading into Round 3.

Russell’s pressure meter ranks teams from 1-5, with number one having the most pressure on them and the most to lose heading into the round.

Check out Russell’s pressure meter below.

1 – Fremantle
vs West Coast – Optus Stadium – Sunday

“I've got Fremantle at one, they are premiership contender but have started 0-2.

“They now face the West Coast Eagles in the Derby, where a loss would lead to massive scrutiny for the coach and the team already under a bit of pressure.

“So, Fremantle are obviously number one based on how big the fallout would be with a loss, and the fallout would be pretty big for Fremantle to start 0-3 with a loss in the Derby against the Eagles.”

2 - Melbourne
vs Gold Coast - MCG – Saturday

“I've got Melbourne two.

“Gold Coast have a reputation for not beating good teams away and I’m not even sure Gold Coast know where the MCG is given they play there so rarely.

“Melbourne had an honourable loss of the MCG to the Giants in Round 1, and it was okay.

“But they were smashed by 59 points by North last week, that's a 10-goal loss.

“Lose to the Suns at the MCG and Melbourne might be this program's biggest talking point Monday.”

3 – Carlton
vs Western Bulldogs - Marvel Stadium – Friday

“I've got Carlton at three.

“They’ve started 0-2. They were embarrassed by Richmond. They were competitive against Hawthorn and now they’ve got the Bulldogs who also have a few out.

“Carlton don't really have the personnel absence excuse that some might think they have because the Dogs have got a few out as well.”

4 - Essendon
vs Port Adelaide – Marvel Stadium – Thursday

“Essendon are at four.

“It’s a home game at Marvel against a team in Port Adelaide that we don't really know If they're any good or not yet.

“Port's got no forward line. So, if Essendon's leaky defence can't keep Port's forward line to a losing score, then the Bombers will be 0-3.”

5 – Gold Coast
vs Melbourne - MCG – Saturday

“I've got the Gold Coast Suns at five.

“If this is really the year that they make finals, this is really the game they have to win. At the MCG, away from home at the home of footy.

“They smashed West Coast in their only game so far, but if they can beat Melbourne at the home of footy, then it does say maybe this is the year for the Gold Coast.”
