King applauded Dons skipper Zach Merrett for his brilliant performance after he had another vital 34 disposals, while also shining a light on the club’s youngsters like Nate Caddy, Isaac Kako and Archie Roberts who all lifted to get their side over the line.

Looking at the losers, Port Kane Cornes was disappointed by the toothless performance, and he called out Jason Horne-Francis for his poor body language and commitment across the night.
