Nathan Buckley and Gerard Whateley have named their top four seeds following Round 3 of the 2025 AFL season.
Buckley and Whateley will each rank the four teams they have the most confidence in going forward on a weekly basis throughout the year.
The seedings will be updated as the season goes on via SEN’s Whateley.
See the seedings below:
1. Brisbane
“I'm only going to put the undefeated teams in there.
“So, I have Brisbane as the number one seed and I feel no reason why they shouldn't be.”
2. Hawthorn
“Hawthorn are the clear number two for me, they're 4-0 for a reason.
“They've definitely earned their spot, and they could well be challenging Brisbane for the No.1 seed in the next couple of weeks.”
3. Adelaide
“I've put Adelaide at three and the Suns at four and they play each other this week.
“One of those teams is going to drop out next week because there's a question on who they have played.”
4. Gold Coast
1. Hawthorn
“Hawthorn are clearly playing the best footy at the start of the season, and that's enough to be hostage to the moment.
“Hawthorn are the one seed for me.”
2. Brisbane
“Brisbane are solidly in two.”
3. GWS
“The Giants dropped from one to three by virtue of losing.”
4. Adelaide
“I've kept Adelaide at four.”
