Race 5, No.2 - Sugar Coat

Liked this horse last prep when won teo and ended up in good company. Second behind Ndola then a solid prep ending run at Caulfield in a good race won by Getafix. This isn’t a strong 64 gate six fine and a small claim. I think better than these.

Race 8, No.5 - Mcadam

Rarely runs a bad one but like this race for him. Was pretty good at The Valley last two and had been heavily supported in betting. Meets a couple here back in grade but they aren’t going so well. Maps behind leader. Stalk and let down.

ORANGE

Race 6, No.1 - Written Gold

Race run too slowly last time and I think was a lot better that that. Won maiden well and supported and went straight to a solid 64 at Warwick farm: another run in the sticks and back to provincial level for him.

STRATHALBYN

Race 5, No.3 - Tough Talk

Happy to take on the Jolly favourite here with tough talk. Nice debut win and went to town in a competitive 62. Gate slight concern should cross and lead them up and be too strong.

GEELONG

Race 3, No.5 - Linkvue

Ran a super race last start at Yarra Glen and he had the race shot to bits until he shifted off the fence and let the winner up, he will lead here and providing he races true he can win, he is a nippy horse.

ORANGE

Race 4, No.2 - Extravagent Lad

Is a sharp horse first up and loves the five furlongs, gate one will see him have a perfect run and Mathew Cahill knows him inside out, he will win fresh.

PORT MACQUARIE

Race 6, No.10 - Egotistic

Is a lightly raced mare with a good record, she will be improved from the first up run and has been a second up winner before, Anna Roper will give her a good spin.

ROCKHAMPTON

Race 6, No.10 - Bold And Smooth

Gets in with no weight on her back and has been competitive in some good races down in Brisvegas, this horse can stride forward which is a good spot to be at Rocky and I think will run a big race.

STRATHALBYN

Race 2, No.8 - Dream Baby

Had good form in NSW at the only two runs and will be improved with the time under her belt, has looked good in a couple of trials and from the good draw should sit midfield and roll home over the top, Pots and Pans on board, all the best punters!
