Shock name tops Brad Johnson’s 2023 AFL re-draft

With a year and a bit of footy under their belts, the 2023 AFL Draft class are starting to really show their wares.

It was a much-anticipated draft at the time, with experts predicting that several future superstars would have their names read out.

With that in mind, Western Bulldogs great Brad Johnson has re-drafted the top 10, and his top pick might shock you.

1 – Logan Morris (originally pick 31) - Brisbane
Original pick 1: Harley Reid – West Coast

“At pick one I would go with Logan Morris from the Brisbane.

‘He’s played 25 games, he won a flag and had an excellent start to his career. “

2 – Joel Freijah (originally pick 45) – Western Bulldogs
Original pick 2: Colby McKercher – North Melbourne

“Pick two I’d go Joel Freijah, he was pick 45, that’s a nice pickup for the Dogs.

“He's playing super. His development is through the roof at the moment.”

3 – Nick Watson (originally pick 5) – Hawthorn

4 – Caleb Windsor (originally pick 7) – Melbourne
