On Thursday night, Clubs NSW held their annual Clubs & Community Awards night to celebrate the incredible support that clubs provide their communities. A record 142 finalists were in attendance which eclipsed last year’s total of 139.

Finalists across NSW were recognised for their efforts in a variety of fields, including assisting vulnerable families to put meals on the table, funding vital medical equipment in hospitals and reducing PTSD among veterans to name a few.

Some of the winners included:

Wests Illawarra for their support of grassroots sport.

Wagga RSL for helping fund lifesaving equipment for the children’s ward at Wagga Base hospital.

Bankstown Sports Club for their support of a program helping to feed kids from disadvantaged families to ensure they don’t turn up to school hungry.

Broken Hill Musicians Club for the enormous role they played acting as a refuge during last year’s widespread power outage.

Congratulations to all the finalists and winners.
