Port Adelaide’s Jason Horne-Francis’ season may be over, with the star suffering an acute fracture in his foot.
The club announced on Monday night that the 22-year-old may require surgery, putting an end to his 2025 and his tenure under Ken Hinkley.
Despite suffering the injury within the first half, Horne-Francis starred in Port Adelaide’s Round 18 win, collecting 27 disposals and kicking three goals including two goals in the final term.
A timeline is yet to be provided on his return.
Horne-Francis’ teammate and club captain Connor Rozee also went down with a fractured hand and is set to miss at least one week.
Port Adelaide travel to Tasmania to take on Hawthorn in Round 19.
