Brisbane's Harris Andrews has addressed the late game scuffle between he and Geelong star Bailey Smith.
With just minutes to play in the final term and the Lions over 60 points up, Smith turned his attention to the Lions' co-captain following a consolation goal to Ollie Dempsey.
Smith, clearly fired up, sparked a verbal exchange with Andrews, engaging in a push and shove before storming off.
"Bailey Smith (is) having an argument with Harris Andrews. It's an argument Smith will never win with the scoreboard the way it is," Gerard Healy said on SEN's call.
Speaking on Sunday morning, a rather dusty Andrews addressed the situation, saying he was certainly enjoying himself in front of the sold out MCG crowd.
"It's all part of the theatre of the game," Andrews told Footy on Nine.
"Bailey is a great competitor, and I really admire the way he goes about the game.
"I'm not sure whether that got caught on camera or not... I was enjoying myself out there. Probably a little bit more than Bailey.
"It is what it is, just get on with the job."
Smith gave props to the Lions via Instagram post game, conceding that he and the Cats were beaten by the better side.

Geelong skipper Patrick Dangerfield urged his team to be proud of their season despite its finish in the Grand Final.
The Cats would ultimately fall short against the Lions by 47 points, with Brisbane storming home in the second half after being tied at half-time.
The captain, in his address as part of the post-game ceremony, noted that it is not always in the Australian nature to celebrate those who finished second but there was plenty for Cats to take from this game into next season.
He would also applaud the Lions on their performance as back-to-back premiership winners.
"Be proud, hold your heads up high," Dangerfield said on the podium.
"We don't, as Australians, always celebrate those who come second all that well.
"But there's plenty to be proud of today. Beaten by a better side, but very proud of our team."
