Race 4, No.7 - Biancelli
Good first-up effort, sat off speed and closed into second in leaders race. Won second-up last prep and only needs to repeat to be right in finish today. $2.50.

Race 7, No.15 - Ziryab (Each-way)
Drops from 60kg's to 54kg today after a very gutsy second last start getting beaten a lip in photo to black run who is much shorter today. $8 is a great each-way play.

RANDWICK

Race 2, No.17 - Lady Olenna
Trialled well, drew wide first-up and was good running second. Strips fitter, barrier 1 will go forward and be the horse they have to run down. $3.90.

ASCOT

Race 1, No.1 - Hoba West
Been racing well and only found one better late last start, back in grade, drawn well and if can carry 60kg's will be winning today. $2.50.

David Taggart

PAKENHAM

Race 4, No.7 - Biancelli
Just failed to pick up the leader first-up and he will appreciate the bigger track here. Comes in well now with the claim and is going to be very hard to beat.

Race 5, No.1 - Khoekhoe (Each-way)
This is an open race but the toppie Khoekhoe could easily get a soft lead and get away with it at odds. Has been racing very well of late and he has a good third up record, worth an each-way play.

Race 8, No.3 - Private Eye
Is clearly the best horse in the race who draws perfect to get a gun run throughout. Williams rides for the first time and he will just sit off a hot pace and should win.

Race 9, No.7 - Persian Spirit
Has to do is run up to his last two runs to win. Came from last to smash a handy field at Flemington then pushed Here To Shock last start beating the rest very easily. Drop in grade and inform helps and he should just be winning.

RANDWICK

Race 1, No.4 - Hyperbolic
Smashed them second-up and there is no reason why she can’t win again as she has good third-up form too. Draws perfect for Berry as she steps up to the mile for the first time.
